I have been working on the PA Species County List for the past few weeks, and thanks for all those he have submitted there information on species in there counties, a great help. I should probably explain it a little more so you have an idea of the list. I am taking everyones data and comparing it to an older list or two I have come by. The good news is the list is more up-to-date and we have added a few new county records and knocked off a few historic ones as well. </p> <p>Now I have a utility that keeps track of the list and the data submitted to the PAHERP Database so when a new record that has not been added to that county or is unvouchered for 2000-2009 or historic for the county i can make proper changes to the list. </p> <p>So sense I have been working on the PA Species County List I have noticed many species that have been listed as historic or not recorded for a county that people have noted in that county. Some as common as a ringneck or n. water snake are historic in one or two counties. </p> <p>So basically keep a good record and coordinates for whatever you find. Never know if it was historic or a range extension.</p> <p>Sometimes the small things are important. </p>
