Needless to say, he helped it across the street so it wouldn't get hit - but snapped this photo first. Found in Carbon County... I'm not sure what type it is.... and apparently it was camera shy because as you can see, it was hiding. = ) The shell was approx. 8" long. Wanted to add it to the database, but of course wanted a positive ID first.
