Afternoon hike with my daughter to search for amphibians at a place I kept putting off.

Turned out to be a great place within 15 minutes of my house.

American toads, in various stages of breeding were out enforce.
    Calling

    Eggs

    And newly hatched tadpoles

    My daughter filming a greenfrog.

Then she spots this eastern garter foraging.

She also snuck a shot of her old man trying to be creative with the camera.

Missed a racer that scooted between my legs. Kacie said I "Failed!"
    Good spring day! No bull…
