   Figured Id set up some early goals for the new year:

   1. Locate the Bucks County copperhead den with Kyle.
   2. Confirm at least 5 new TR dens for the fish n boat commission.
   3. Get a good photo of a bog turtle, spotted turtle, coal skink, gray treefrog, eastern spadefoot, spring salamander, four-toed salamander, and smooth and rough green snakes (Have found all, and have photos of some, but not many and not of great quality).
   4. Get out with Jason and find a queen snake.
   5. Find one reliable hognose area (they are generally so random!)
   6. Find a healthy population of ribbon snakes.
   7. Confirm the McCoy Wyoming County copperhead population.
   8. Find the marbled salamanders in Bucks County with Kyle.

   And finally, keep my new ACL healthy for the whole year!

   I can help with the gray trees and the smooth greens. If you go after PA rough greens, count me in I will be going after PA smooth earths at the same time.

   Get out with Jason and find a queen snake.

   
   I can help with queens on this side of the state, but if you'd rather travel...

   Find one reliable hognose area (they are generally so random!)

   
   I know of a spot, but it's like a Zoo... I would like to find a Bucks County Hog.

   Find a healthy population of ribbon snakes.

   
   Another good goal... I have not found one in Bucks co in a long time... but have some ideas.

   Find the marbled salamanders in Bucks County with Kyle.

   Another needle we need to find in this haystack.

   I know of the chester queen snake pop...maybe on a voyage out to VF we hit mount misery and then go check along the creek for queens!

   I used to find 1-2 ribbons a year at my parents in bucks, but not since 2003 have i found one. Gonna set up some board lines where i used to find them in february to see if i can get some that way. Theres a spot up in monroe county still where we find 5-10 ribbons on every outing in the months of april and may. We also find alot of four-toed sallys in this same vicinity.

   My last queen was from VF... see the post below. I had a spot in lycoming for ribbons, but haven't seen one since 07 I think. I have no pa four toeds yet though I have scouted some habitat...

   You are more than welcome to join me for queens. I can get you at least a handful on a good day ;-) and we can knock out a Ravine while at it. A few of my queen spots are right down the road from Ravine spots.

   I have to many Goals.
   S. Allegheny Co, Copperhead
   Allegheny Co. Smooth Green Snake (going on 4 years for this goal)
   Fence Lizard and 5-lined Skink in PA.
   The big one - Western Chorus Frog
   A gray tree frog would be nice.
   Check out Kirtland's spots
   Get a Green Sally, Blandings, and mtn. Chorus frog. If all works out I might get one or two of those.
   Valley and Ridge is High on my list.
   Confirm Red-Bellied Snake in Washington Co.
   Scout for new Queen Snake and Ravine sites.

   Work on PAHERP :)

    I'm working on photographing all species found in my home county. I think I may have underestimated how long this project would take. :-)

    Anyone heading to or interested in heading to NE PA let me know.

    5 new TR sites
    spend more time looking for coppers
    get back up to north central to some of my old TR sites to check into
