   Thanks alot guys....this has been rough, especially with the suddeness of it all. We thought he had the flu for 5 days, my mom took him to the hospital, turned out to be an aggressive case of cancer (lymphoma), he died two days later. Hunting season this year will suck, and none may be the same again. My dad loved hunting and fishing more than anything, and through hunting and fishing is how my passion for herpetology evolved as a kid. He didn't particularly like snakes but pushed me to do whatever I liked and was certainly proud to tell all his friends about all my timber rattlesnake and copperhead research...ill certainly miss our talks, and like I said, bowhunting will never be the same...

   Hey Phil have thought about you and your family most of the day, as it really saddens me.
   It does take a long time to move on. I still think about my cousin all the time that we lost suddenly, even though that was 8 years ago. Have to think about the good times and keep those memories, they will get you though, and the influence they have on our lives will be passed on for many years, even to others we come across in our lives.
