Some of you have shared with me that you have found certain species such as garter snakes and painted turtles sunning themselves during the winter. What other experiances have people had with this sort of thing?

Been quite busy the last few weeks, so no herpin for me. I just got back from Lake erie steelhead fishing trip. Im hoping I can get out over thanksgiving vac. to look for some marlbed sally larve, never looked for them before so a friend of mine said we should go check out where i found the marlbeds earlier this fall. Will post pics when we find them.

Thanks guys. I was trying to get a grasp of what "actuals" have been spotted in winter. Its hard to describe common overwintering when the official references refer to individuals found in rare circumstances. Thanks again.
