    can anyone give me some info on where i could spot some rattlesnakes close to lancaster county? i have never seen a live rattlesnake in the wild and would love to.

    Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, posting specific locations to observe herps on a public forum is strictly taboo for several reasons.
    However, I would tell you that you would definitely have to travel to Pennsylvania's ridge and valley area to the north where their habitat begins to be available.

    yeah totally makes sense.

    well i finally saw a nice timber rattler today!!! hung out with her for about an hour until she slowly slithered away under a rock. amazing!

    spotted her about 20 miles north of lancaster county.

    Yep, rattlers to the north of you. Check out the Blue. Was checking them out the other day. Went to a new spot and my daughter and I found some. Going back tommorrow morn to check for more.

    not sure on how 2 post piks but i ran across 7 timbers in 1 day but sum of them were spotted by me b4. no matter i love seeing healthy populations of timbers.

    Use an online storage site like photobucket.com. Then just copy and paste the IMG url. Look forward to seeing pics.
