Lots of good stuff, but i was looking for gentle giant tongs and midwest was not there or anybody that carried them. There was 2 Pakistanian guys there but they were selling junk tongs and stuff. I guess this week I will order a set off the web site. Also that was my first time there, I was so surprised to see how many people attended it. I got there at around 12:00 and the line was about 50yds long, but it move pretty quickly. It got my wheels turning now about getting a snake, I seen many that I would love to have, but I want some thing that stays around 30in. I also was surprised at how reasonable the prices were on the snakes, some were expensive, but I guess they were the rare ones. I wish those ball pythons would stay small or the emerald tree boas. Also had quite a few Crotalas, there was a beautiful albino Atrox, that would be cool to have but the only problem is I want something that can be held. My wife and kids went and they loved it, so we will be watching for another show and hopfully till then we can decide what we want. My wife would rather stay with a lizard of some type or turtles, she likes them. Maybe that is the route we will take. I would like to get something setup before we get something that way at the next show I just have to worry about getting the critter. Either way it was a cool show, lots of stuff and the family had fun. Definatly do again.

We talked it over today and I think we are going to start with a gecko or two. I would like a ball python but my wife is still a little hesitant about having one as a pet, so we are going to keep going to these shows and let her adjust to them a little more. My daughter actually wants a albino corn. We had lizards and turtles before but evidently we did something wrong because they died, so I want to look into this before I go get anything.
