   What a night, and I dont think we even seen the half of it! We were road cruising and seen spotteds everwhere. The one place it reminded me of cattle crossing the road. This was our first time in the spring doing this. We took my mother with and she loved it. The first one we seen she want to get out and get it to help it across the road. I was amazed at how into it she was. We also found a new place where they cross the road. My oldest daughter and mother at one point were running up the road infront of the vehicle grabbing them and moving them across the road. Was so cool! Also seen a pile of peepers crossing, we helped them to. It was sad to see all the road kills though. The place that had the most, we got there a little to late and there were about 25 dead already. Hope everyone had a night like we did, we will be back at it tommorrow.

   Killing me. :) Not able to get out tonight. Went out today with 1 dusky and 3 peepers calling mid-day.

   Tomorrow night I am excited. Will be taking a few people out to listen fro frogs and look for spotteds.

   Good work with taking your mother out. Glad she found it an interesting experience.

   Checked the pools today and there are sperm deposites everwhere. Going out tonight to see if we can see the females pick up the sperm. We also went to another area and found more sperm deposits. Them look like they were there for a couple days or more. I'm told they may be from Jeffersons. Will be keeping an eye on all of this. This is cool stuff!

   Anyone else think spotted sallies look like Barney the dinosaur. Everytime i look at them, i think of him. Everytime my 2 yr old watches Barney i think of spotteds. She says the sallies are baby dinosaurs. Funny stuff!

   Just got back from a little cruising and a couple visits to the pools. Moved another 30 off the road, and seen few DOR. Seen more peepers. Went to visit the pools and the sallies were active. Video some and took pictures, was cool watching them come up for a gulp of air. They sure dont like the light, although when we put the red light on them they didnt seem to mind it as much. About 11:30 some peepers starting calling, the first ones we heard. Also had a visit from a state cop, thought we were aliens with the different color lights.LOL Told him what we were up to and he said he would keep an eye out for them. He thought it was cool. He was a nice guy. All in all was a great day, we found some new pools, saved some more sallies, got some wet and muddy clothes and now its bed time. I forgot its daylight saving time.
