Was out with the wife, daughter and friend and we had a good day. We seen wood frogs and egg masses. Spotted egg masses, spotted turtle, painted turtle, brown snake. We also came across a spotted larve from a fall breeding. Was a cool day! Will be back at it tommorrow.

...and also a bull frog and newts. Heard peepers and finally heard wood frogs calling.

Im going to check on that Larvae. Spotteds usually dont breed in fall but larvae can overwinter. Marbleds usually breed in fall, but I know you saw that odd spotted migration last year. Didnt you see marbled there also?

Upon further review, it is a marlbed! I just got word from Rich that he reviewed it with past pics. Im stoked it is. I was hoping for that. Now i have a marlbed breeding pool. Its at a pool along side the road where i found the 3 marbleds last year. Thats why we were looking there, thought that would be the most obvious place.
