And, you can probably do it on your normal walks, maybe even in your backyard. It’s so easy even a child can do it, and hopefully will.
The Commonwealth’s salamanders, frogs, turtles, snakes and lizards are not doing well. In fact, there are 36 species of special concern.
But no one knows for sure because populations are so scattered across the state and there are not enough biologists to go around and find out.”
